On Friday a nightlight caused a fire which destroyed the home of the Ochana family in Netanya. Four of the children were saved from the flames, but sweet little boys Refael (age 3) and Elazar (age 5) passed away in the blaze.
The rest of the family were treated for smoke inhalation and other minor injuries.
Yesterday morning, the young Ochana parents and their little children woke up to the ultimate devastation - these two precious souls were gone, together with their home and everything they owned. There are no words for their devastation.
Mother Tzipora is just one month after birth.Their family was already struggling financially. Now they don't even have pajamas for the kids to sleep in tonight.
Please, help us to give support to this family during this unimaginable time - to enable them to return to a home, with furniture, appliances, clothing, food, and to have time & space to heal after their horrific loss. As of now they are traumatized, broken, and completely homeless. It is a long and painful journey ahead of them. Please let us join together to show them that they are not alone, that we mourn their boys with them, and that they will be taken care of.
Thank you and tizku l’mitzvos.
