TheChesedFund.com is a collaborative way to raise funds for all Jewish related causes at no cost to the beneficiary.

TheChesedFund.com provides an easy, online platform for anyone to fundraise from more people, faster than otherwise possible. With TheChesedFund.com you can help others and raise much needed funds. We provide all the tools you need to help others and partake in the mitzvah of chesed.

Anyone can create a campaign, where you tell your story and set a funding goal, . You can use TheChesedFund.com to create your campaign, share it with your network, engage readers, track information about contributors, and collect money. TheChesedFund.com provides excellent customer service for creating your campaigns and collecting money. We also promote campaigns through social media and press outreach, as well as on our homepage, in our newsletters, and on our blog.

We started TheChesedFund.com to propel chesed forward. We know there are a lot of people with great needs in the Jewish community and we are ecstatic to be the conduit to further chesed in the global Jewish community.

TheChesedFund.com is open for anyone to use and is totally free to use with any type of campaign - creative, cause-related, or entrepreneurial.
Nothing! It doesn't cost anything to create a campaign or to collect funds. The recipient pays the credit card transaction fees however TheChesedFund.com never collects commissions on donations unlike GoFundme.com.
Credit Card Processors charge 2.9% + $0.30 for each transaction.
International transactions are up to 3.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
PayPal processing fee is 2.9% + $0.80 for each transaction.
The Credit Card fee goes to the payment processor, not to TheChesedFund.com.
Yes, but be prepared to supply TheChesedFund.com with official documents that may be needed to prove your organization's authenticity.

There is no official limit, but we highly suggest that you be reasonable.

Campaigns that seem to us as highly unreasonable may not be approved.

You must set up your Stripe account, and they will transfer the money directly to your bank account.

You can optionally also add on a PayPal account. Here too - the money is transferred directly to your account.

The money does not go through The Chesed Fund's account.

Note:

  • We currently process donations with Stripe. Check https://stripe.com/global to see if they support bank accounts in your country.
  • You can open a PayPal only campaign. Please note that depending on your location, PayPal might charge high conversion fees.
