Leeyan’s Seminary Year
Hi! My name is Leeyan Cohen and i’m from Miami, Florida. I come from a traditional Israeli home and I only recently began understanding the importance of learning about my Jewish identity, and naturally took upon myself Mitzvot as a result. During my junior year, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to NCSY where I was able to become the best version of myself at that time. Through all of the Shiurs, shabbatons and amazing advisors, I was able to find the right path and really grow spiritually. But For me that journey has just begun. Last year, I did not even know what seminary was, yet here I am dreaming of attending Sharfmans/Bnot Torah in Yerushalyim next year. The only constraint however, is that the program is financially impossible. If You can help in any way, I would be beyond appreciative.
